“The fabric for the “Extents Pillow” (20”x20”) was created by brushing sun sensitive dye on to raw fabric while different plywood shapes were under the fabric. The brush caught the edges of the plywood and a line of dye formed the outlined shape of the wood. By moving the shapes around and changing colors and then finally spraying the surface with a garden hose, the dye spread in an organic way becoming permanent as the sun oxidized it.” -Andy Vogt
